DC Sports Headers / Exhaust Manifolds are effective in increasing horsepower engine output by increasing airflow after it has been combusted inside the engine. Similar to the air intake system, DC Sports header / exhaust manifold system allow higher air flow rate due to increased runner and piping size as well as decreased air flow restrictions on the bends. Mate this with a full exhaust system to maximize horsepower potential.

The stainless steel header has all the same design feature as the mild steel ceramic coated header except we use polished T-304 stainless steel.  Our stainless steel header is designed to stand up to the harshest conditions you can subject it to and provide you with the most power from any street legal header on the market.

4-1 Header - The 4-1 Header is very popular with the racing crowd.  This design Maximizes top-end power. Understanding that most people don't race their cars every day, we also engineered some mid-range power into this header.  You do not have to redline your engine to make power with our 4-1 header. The DC Sports 4-1 header uses a true trapezoidal merge collector.  The ends of the primaries are precisely mitered to join together and form a smooth transition.  This merge allows the exhaust gases to freely flow into the collector without turbulence.  Another benefit of the trapezoidal merge is the increased ground clearance achieved by offsetting the top tubes from the bottom.

4-2-1 One-piece Header - Why do we offer a one-piece version of our two-piece header? Good question.  The answer is reduced weight.  The DC Sports 4-2-1 one-piece header eliminates the two middle flanges and is up to two pounds lighter than the two piece header. The 4-2-1 one-piece header combines clean looks, performance, lighter weight, and superior ground clearance.  The 4-2-1 one-piece headers are offered in both ceramic coated mild steel and T304 stainless steel and are CARB exempt.  Both models feature lightened CNC machined flanges and mandrel bent tubing.

4-2-1 Two piece Header - The DC Sports 4-2-1 two-piece header is a classic design that combines excellent performance with ease of installation. The 4-2-1 two-piece headers are offered in both ceramic coated mild steel and T304 stainless steel and are CARB exempt.  Both models feature CNC machined flanges and mandrel bent tubing.

"B" suffix vs. "S" suffix - "B" suffix indicates new Brushed Finish with Stainless Steel Flanges. "S" Suffix indicates Polish Finish with Stainless Steel Flanges.
