This is the header that put
DC Sports in the map. Constructed from ceramic coated mandrel bent mild
steel the DC Sport header is the standard by which all headers are
judged. The two piece headers is designed for ease of installation with a
factory like fit. CNC machined flanges ensure a perfect fit every time.
4-1 Header
- The 4-1 Header is very popular with the
racing crowd. This design Maximizes top-end power. Understanding
that most people don't race their cars every day, we also engineered some
mid-range power into this header. You do not have to redline your
engine to make power with our 4-1 header. The DC Sports 4-1 header uses a
true trapezoidal merge collector. The ends of the primaries are
precisely mitered to join together and form a smooth transition.
This merge allows the exhaust gases to freely flow into the collector
without turbulence. Another benefit of the trapezoidal merge is the
increased ground clearance achieved by offsetting the top tubes from the
bottom.
4-2-1 One-piece Header - Why do we
offer a one-piece version of our two-piece header? Good question.
The answer is reduced weight. The DC Sports 4-2-1 one-piece header
eliminates the two middle flanges and is up to two pounds lighter than the
two piece header. The 4-2-1 one-piece header combines clean looks,
performance, lighter weight, and superior ground clearance. The
4-2-1 one-piece headers are offered in both ceramic coated mild steel and
T304 stainless steel and are CARB exempt. Both models feature
lightened CNC machined flanges and mandrel bent tubing.

performance with ease of installation. The 4-2-1 two-piece headers are
offered in both ceramic coated mild steel and T304 stainless steel and are
CARB exempt. Both models feature CNC machined flanges and mandrel
