Steps

  1. Test fit the lip for the correct fitment before any drilling or painting.
  2. If you look under your bumper there are holes used for the factory lip.  You will use 2 of these holes. Insert the two clips at the point where you want the brackets to attach to the lip. Here in the picture I used the points where the lip flairs out.
  3. Using the 10mm bolts and washers, bolt up the brackets to your factory bumper.
  4. Test-attach the lip and mark the points where the holes line up on the lip with the brackets, this is where you will be drilling. Remove the brackets but leave the clips in.
  5. Drill the two set of two holes where you marked the points to be drilled, and attach the brackets to the lip using the 4 brass screws.
  6. Drill two holes on each endpoint of the lip, but before you do so please make sure your factory bumper is backing the lip for it to attach to.
  7. Paint the lip if desired and attach to bumper using the 4 self-tapping screws (silver). Re-bolt the two 10mm bolts and washers to the two clips you installed in step 3.
  8. You are then done.

Rear Type-R Lip

Test fit the lip for the correct fitment before any drilling or painting.  This is the basic layout of the rear lip.  You screw on the two ends with the four self-tapping screws and use the four 10mm bolt, nut, and washer to attach to lip to the bumper where it will allow.  The picture is for visual purposes only and not intended to be the exact points where the bolts are to be bolted. Be aware that your bumper will be required to drill 4 holes.
